Just finished reading Michael Chabon’s fantastic pulitzer-prize winning The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay.
NYC blogger, Jason quits his job and tries out blogging for a living. He’ll be operating as a microcorporation whose priniciple revenue will be reader donations. The interesting part about this is he’s attempting to completely eschew the advertising paradigm for “there’s got to be a way to support media that doesn’t involve advertising.”
Hmmm…reminds me of somebody quitting their job to be a working musician. There are so many greats out there, but is anybody paying them?
